Class 2 : Summary

1. We started Aadi Parva - narrated story about King Shantanu, Ganga devi, Satyavati and Devavrata-Bheeshma.

2. We analyzed the characters in detail. We talked about Shantanu’s temptation and loss of judgment, Ganga Devi’s mystery and philosophy of Karma, Satyavati & her selfish ambitions, Devavrata-Bheeshma’s Selflessness, devotion to father and will power to take a terrible vow. We connected students with examples in their life to understand temptations and hasty actions and consequences.

3. Gita Chapter 12: We learnt to chant shloka 1.

4. RAW: (Reflection Adventure): We are testing our will power this week. Kids have been invited to participate in an adventure and take a vow and keep it for the next 7 days!
