Class 5 : Summary
RAW review: Think Before You Act: We posted a few very short video clips that showed how actions create a chain reaction of actions and a result comes back to the doer; how what we experience today is the result of the past and what we do today impacts tomorrow.
Story: We covered the story of Kauravas and Pandavas growing up together in the palace and how hate and hurt festered in the mind of Duryodhana. We narrated how he planned to poison Bhima and kill him. We also talked of Shakuni's negative influence and how Drona was eventually hired to teach the kids in an ashram away from the palace.
We analyzed the characters of Kauravas and Pandavas. Especially Bhima and Duryodhana. Every one agreed Bhima was not considerate to the Kaurava's feelings. But Duryodhana acted wrongly, blinded by his selfishness, pride and feelings of entitlement. Also we briefly touched upon the importance of proper guidance (from parents or elders).
RAW: Healthy Competition: We have asked kids to share what it is, how to practice it etc on our WhatsApp group.
Gita Chapter 12: We learnt to chant shlokas 1 and 2.
